Sinclair Community College’s Intensive English as a Second Language (ESL) Program, English Now!, is designed to help students whose first language is not English. The program serves the local immigrant population as well as international students with F-1 visas. F-1 visa students must enroll through the English Now! Intensive ESL Program.
Our intensive ESL program focuses on the skill areas of:
You will be in class for 21 hours a week.
We provide three levels of English instruction:
When you arrive you will be tested for placement in the appropriate level.
The cost of the classes relates to the number of credits assigned to each. For example, the current rate for F-1 visa students is $334.40 per credit. F-1 visa students in the English Now! program must take 15 credits per semester. Therefore, the current cost per semester is 15 x $334.40 = $5,016. Note that this amount does not include the cost of books and living expenses.
