  4. Establish clear communication protocols, expectations

Course Scheduling: Online and Face-to-face Mix

For Fall Semester 2020, the college has prioritized online learning and is making exceptions for essential occupational fields and areas where online learning is not a viable option for student success.

Anticipating the possibility of a potential surge in the pandemic in the late fall, faculty are attempting to complete necessary face-to-face interactions as early in the semester as possible, so classes can be flipped to online learning for the rest of the semester if necessary. In cases where this is not possible, the faculty will pause instruction and resume as soon as it is deemed safe to do so.

Many academic policies were adjusted during spring semester of 2020 because of the need to switch to remote learning so quickly. If protocols require a similar shift again during Fall Term, the college will respond and post updates.
