College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

The College Board offers nationally standardized CLEP exams that allow learners of any background to test in a variety of subjects. Students are encouraged to go to the College Board website to access the most up to date process and pricing for testing. Note, there is also a variable sitting fee by location for students to test. Sinclair's Academic Testing Center offers CLEP testing in Bldg. 10, 4th Floor, Room 445.CLEP testers should call (937) 512-2211 for information on scheduling and costs.

Study materials are available directly from College Board, CLEP guide books, as well as https://modernstates.org/ so students can practice and prepare prior to testing.

When you take a CLEP exam, request that your scores be sent to Sinclair Community College (code 1720). If you already took a CLEP exam and did not have your scores sent to Sinclair, official transcripts can still be sent via the College Board website.
