Library Resources for Faculty: Course Reserves

Resources for Sinclair Faculty & Staff

About Course Reserves

Items for classes can be placed on reserve in the library. Reserve materials are kept at the service desk for students to check out.

Books, magazines, and media placed on reserve have the following loan periods:

  • 3 hours, library use only (for textbooks and most other items)
  • 3 days
  • 1 week

If you would like to place materials on reserve for your classes, please fill out the online Reserve Materials Request Form found on Forms Central, under Library. Please allow 3-5 working days to process your items.

If you have trouble with the form, you'll need to come to the Library and fill out a printed form.

Calculator Borrowing

For students to borrow TI 83/84 calculators from the Mathematics Dept., they will need to go to the Library Service desk and specifically ask for the graphing calculators from the IT department. Calculators will be checked out to them for the semester.

Find Course Reserves

You can find out what is already on reserve by searching course reserves in our catalog. You will be able to see what is on reserve at each campus/learning center.
