The General Education certificate enables students to develop the soft skills needed for success in the workplace today. The credential builds upon students’ knowledge of human diversity, scientific inquiry, and critical thinking in order to enhance their professional development. This certificate is particularly beneficial for students who hold a technical certificate and may not have completed general education credits. In addition, this short-term certificate will allow Active Duty Airmen, who complete general education courses at Sinclair, to earn a credential while fulfilling the requirements of their Community College of the Air Force Associates Degree.
Upon completing this credential, students will have the ability to enhance their careers in the military and technical fields through the use of written skills, oral skills, interpersonal skills, and cultural awareness. Students who complete this certificate can use their acquired knowledge to supplement their professional development and to become more marketable when seeking a job in any field.
