On a day that stayed in the 30's and felt like it was in the 20's, the Pride took on regional foe Glen Oaks in a double header.
Sophomore Jeremiah Kerns got the start for the Tartans and pitched a gem. The offenses for both teams were cold like the weather and the only run of the game was scored in the 4th inning. First basemen Kyle Vander Ark led off the inning with a triple and Chayse Hood knocked him in with a sac fly to center. Neither team would score again and Kerns took a no-hitter into the 7th inning. After hitting the first batter of the inning, Kerns got a double-play groundball to 3rd to move one out away from the no-no. In the end, it wasn't meant to be and the next batter smacked a line drive single up the middle. Pride closer Matt Addis came into finish the game with a strikeout and record his second save of the season.

In game two, Austin Pressly took on former Lakeland CC starter Josh Vandermark. The Pride got on the board early with a passed ball and a RBI single from Marcus Heath. After another run in the 2nd, Sinclair led 3-0 heading into the 3rd. Pressly found himself in trouble after giving up two one out walks. A double in the gap and a few infield singles tied the game at three. In the 4th, Glen Oaks took their first lead of the day scoring on a two out passed ball. That run was unearned and Pressly's finished the inning down by one. The Pride offense responded in the bottom half with two runs putting Pressly in line for the win. The inning was highlighted by a two out RBI double to left by Brandon Napier. Christian McElroy threw the final three innings without allowing one hit and striking out five. With the win the Pride improve to 4-0 on the young season.
