Volleyball Drops Close Home Game

Dayton, OH – Sinclair Women’s Volleyball lost to Indiana Tech 2-3 on Saturday.

Sinclair got off to a strong start in game one and set the tone for the rest of the day with an opening 25-19 victory. Indiana Tech found some momentum in game two by taking advantage of a couple of Pride errors to squeeze out a 2 point win. Game three the visitors played well to keep Sinclair at bay to win 25-21. With their backs against the wall and needing a win in game four to extend the match to a fifth and deciding game, The Pride completely dominated the visitors and evened the match with a 25-14 win. The fifth and deciding game of the match, Sinclair fell victim to a couple of untimely errors that cost the Pride the match. This was a rematch of a contest from in early October when Indiana Tech beat the Pride 2-0 in a tri-match.

Sinclair (16-14/8-3) will play at Owens on Wednesday for the final conference match of the year, game time – 6:00pm. The Pride will finish the season at home against the University of Findlay JV team on Thursday the 27th at 6:00pm. Please come out and help us say goodbye to a great group of sophomores and wish them luck at the NJCAA Regional Tournament.
