Sinclair to Host 18th Annual Career Exploration and Job Fair

Sinclair Community College will host its18th Annual Career Exploration and Job Fair on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from Noon – 3:00 p.m. in the Building 12 Conference Center on Sinclair’s downtown Dayton campus, located on the corner of Fourth and Perry Streets.

The event will bring over 90 businesses and organizations that are actively looking to hire qualified candidates, as well as 4-year colleges for students looking to pursue bachelor’s degrees. Attending organizations represent all business sectors from health care and engineering to retail and non-profits service groups.  Featured employers are Consumer Support Service, Dayton Progress Corporation, Premier Health Partners and the University of Dayton – Office of Human Resources.

The event is free and open to the public.  “Each year Sinclair invites area businesses to campus to assist graduating students and alumni with their job search,” stated Matt Massie, manager of Student and Community Engagement. “In addition, we greatly appreciate the support provided to us by the residents of the region and are pleased to open this event to the entire community.”

Those attending are encouraged to dress appropriately and come prepared with resumes. Parking is available at no charge at nearby campus lots: Lot A garage on Fifth St.; Lot E off of Perry St. at Fourth St.;  and Lot K, off of Perry St. past Fifth St. Parking is also available at meters on the street or for a $10 fee in Lot C on Fourth Street.
