Concert To Benefit Project Read

Project READ has been “the literacy connection” for the Dayton, Ohio, area for over 30 years, connecting students to free literacy classes, recruiting and training tutors for children and adults, providing books to children and families in need and advocating for literacy awareness.

Project READ builds skilled workers, strong families, and healthy communities through lifelong literacy.

On SaturdayJune 22, 2019, you are invited to support Project READ at the 15th Annual Concert for Literacy, Bookstock: A Woodstock Revival, 7:30 p.m. at the Fraze Pavilion in Kettering.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 day of the show. With a special code SCC, tickets can be purchased for $10 plus any applicable online fees through June 15.


This concert is a celebration of the music played at Woodstock 50 years ago! Bands include Deron Bell & Silky T featuring the Woodstock All-Stars playing the music of Jimi Hendrix, Sly & Family Stone and Santana; Arrows of Neon & Friends playing the music of Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin and Joe Cocker; and Locking Up Otis playing the music of The Who, Credence Clearwater Revival and more!

100% of the concert proceeds benefit Project READ.
