ART 2265 Digital Color Photography I

An introduction to the technique of digital color photography, printing techniques, the presentation of digital prints and various camera and computer techniques will be employed to enhance the print. Student will supply own digital Single-lens Reflex (SLR) camera and pigment-based photographic printer. Six studio hours per week.

  • Demonstrate the ability to articulate the scientific and technical language - both subjective and objective in nature - addressing issues of craft and vision.
  • Demonstrate an ability to relate digital photographic theory to practice.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the fundamentals of color photography through the creation of a final portfolio that provides evidence of a strong artistic vision.
