Information Sessions to help you find your path

Attend an in-person or virtual info sessions to meet with faculty, discuss specific majors, and find the program that’s right for you.

Info sessions give you the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the academic pathways that lead to a rewarding career in your chosen field
  • Discuss available associate degree and short-term certificate programs
  • Discover careers and job opportunities in your chosen field, as well as how specific programs prepare you for those positions.
  • Get assistance with the steps to become a Sinclair student.

Aviation Info Session

Aviation

Pursue a Rewarding, Lucrative Career in the Aviation Industry - The demand for aviation professionals of all types is at an all-time high. Rapid growth in airline passenger and cargo traffic, along with an expected wave of retirements, will create many job opportunities for new pilots, aviation maintenance technicians, aircraft dispatchers, flight attendants, and support staff at all levels of the aviation industry. Attend an info session Monday, February 20, right after Spring Visit Day, to learn about how Sinclair can prepare you for a successful career in aviation.

During this info session, you will:

  • Learn about Sinclair’s Aviation degree and certificate programs, including two new bachelor’s degree programs.
  • Watch a flight demonstration.
  • Discuss career and job opportunities in the aviation industry.
  • Get information about Sinclair’s partnership with Wright State, The Wright Path Program, which allows Sinclair aviation students to use Wright State’s housing and dining facilities. Sinclair students may also join Wright State’s ROTC program.

Join the high-demand, high-paying field of Cyber Defense

Expertise and job training in Cyber Defense are in high demand throughout the region. Attend an online information session Tuesday, February 28 from 5-6 p.m. to find out more about careers in the field and to learn how Sinclair’s degree programs can help prepare you for success.

  • Discuss the difference between Cyber Defense and Cyber Investigation.
  • Learn about Sinclair’s new Integrated Systems Technician bachelor’s degree program.
  • Compare job roles and duties and related salaries for graduates with bachelor’s degrees and associate degrees.
  • Discover emerging careers in the field.
  • Explore concerns about cyber safety, including:
    - Password safety and online security awareness
    - How to determine if the website you are using is safe
    - Porch Pirates—technology to prevent theft and promote home security (IOTs)
  • Find out about transfer opportunities.
