Continuing Education

The MHT program offers chemical dependency courses which address the continuing education needs of clinical practitioners and human service license holders.  Other than MHT 1236 preceeding MHT 2137, the courses have no prerequisites and may be taken in any order.  Please consult the MHT office (937-512-2845) or the Course Scheduler to see which courses will be offered next.

MHT 1130  Introduction to Addictive Illnesses - 3 credit hours

MHT 1236  Assessment and Diagnosis of Substance Use Disorders - 3 credit hours

MHT 2137  Treatment Techniques in Substance Use Disorders - 3 credit hours

MHT 2138  Ethical Issues in Behavioral Healthcare - 2 credit hours

MHT 2239  Dual Diagnosis - 2 credit hours

MHT 2235  Family Dynamics of Addiction - 3 credit hours

Important Information about Health Sciences Programs: The Health Sciences (HS) Programs consist of open enrollment courses (general education and division specific) and program specific courses with limited enrollment. The open enrollment courses may be taken prior to entry into the limited enrollment courses.
