Patient Care Technician—Short-term Certificate

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) course prepares students for entry into the workforce within two semesters. After successful completion of the PCT course, Sinclair works to connect students with hiring employers and job opportunities. Job positions are typically full-time with benefits, often including tuition reimbursement. The PCT course can be applied to a degree in health sciences for students who would like to continue their education.

Medical Assistant—One-Year Technical Certificate

Medical Assistants are multi-skilled professionals who assist physicians with the administrative and clinical aspects of patient care. Graduates from Sinclair’s Medical Assistant Technology program are eligible to sit for a national exam to become a credentialed medical assistant. The Medical Assistant one-year certificate can be applied to the Medical Assistant Technology Associate degree at Sinclair for students who would like to continue their education.
