eLearning Compliance

The Department of Distance Education and eLearning Compliance oversees all regulations and policies pertinent to distance learning at Sinclair. The manager of the department oversees State Authorization regulations that govern distance education courses and out-of-state learning placements.

eLearning and distance education regulations come from many sources including: 

• State Law
• Federal Law and Administrative Policies 
• Higher Education accrediting bodies such as HLC 

The department also supports peripheral efforts with compliance in mind.
