The Marketing Department at Sinclair is excited to announce our new pilot program called the New Media Creative, which started in Fall Semester of 2018. Each semester the Marketing Department hires on new Sinclair student talent that are interested in media and marketing.
These are paid positions working directly for the Marketing Department.
Sinclair students, with a wide range of media and marketing interests, can gain valuable hands-on experience learning from the extraordinary experts serving in Sinclair's Marketing Department.

The job will provide hands on experience where students will be responsible for producing media products for the college. Students will take what they are learning in the classroom and utilize the tools and skills they are learning on the job to produce high quality media products that meet the requirements of the marketing brand and standards.
New media work is creative, fast-paced and in demand by all businesses and institutions.
Student teams work on real college and industry projects, building a collection of work used to produce a portfolio showcasing all they learned. They will gain first-hand experience and develop skills in multiple interdisciplinary media and marketing areas.
New media represents the many ways in which modern communication and marketing strategies are executed on media platforms throughout the world.
Typical career paths include digital marketing, social media specialists, public relations, multi-media journalism, corporate communications, advertising, graphic design, computer coders, web designers, digital photography, and videography.
Regardless of the industry, new media is present in the strategic marketing and communication of individuals and organizations in content production.
Employment within new media-related fields is expected to grow much faster than average for most occupations. The job outlook is only expected to keep growing as technologies change, improve and expand globally.
