Turning Point anywhere is used when you want to get audience responses but want to use another program besides the turning point powerpoint add-in

 

TurningPoint is a software add-on to MS PowerPoint that enables instructors to develop and administer real-time assessments of participants within their PowerPoint presentations.

 

A USB dongle is needed to use the TurningPoint software in the classroom. However, the software can run without the “dongle” (which is really a transceiver – transmitter & receiver, not a software security dongle) but you don’t get signals from the clickers. This is so that you can create your presentation with questions before you use them in a presentation where you want to get the audience response.
