Sinclair Community College

IT Lab Quality is managed by the Information Technology Services department in the IT division.

Our main goal is to ensure the continued operational status and security of the technology-enhanced learning spaces. The Lab Quality Team maintains 45 computer classrooms. Rooms vary in size and equipment installed. 

Functions and services provided include:

  • Replenishing supplies: paper, toner cartridges, staples, plotter paper and plotter cartridges
  • Cleaning and sanitizing monitors, CPUs, keyboards, mice, and tables
  • Making sure printers are connected and working properly with software
  • Electronically monitor toner and paper usage
  • Ensure space is clean and facilities issues are addressed 
  • Ensure all podium rooms have current instructions
  • Maintain media database and spreadsheets to monitor supply usage
  • Maintain license information for Academic software
  • Process software request and assist with testing software for supported departments, when needed
