Software

The software in the Library is a combination of Sinclair's "Core Applications" and "Course Specific Applications".

Core Applications

A standard for all campus labs that have the academic image

Course Specific Applications

Over 170 applications supporting more than 14 departments across all divisions

The Library also has a group of computers that are called FLEX computers. These computers have software that either does not run on the imaged computers or is transitional software and AV stations have scanners and web development applications

Nursing Specific Applications

As of winter of 2008 the Library now has 12 stations dedicated for the use of Nursing Specific Applications. These stations can be found on the north side of the library. Many of the Nursing Application may also be found on the IT Lab image on the main floor of the Library, Teleport and CIL. Please ask for assistance in locating these applications.

You'll also find we have added 5 new Nursing Stand Alone Stations. These are also located in the Library near the vending machines. Click HERE for a list of applications on these stations. The CD's or DVD's as well as headphones can be borrowed from the Service Desk in the Library.
