Short Term Schedulable Lab (STSL)

The Short-term Schedulable Lab (STSL) is located in room 13223. It has 16 student workstations and one instructor podium. 

• You may reserve the room by doing a "meeting request" in Outlook with LABTELE - Found in the Global listing.
• Faculty is permitted to schedule the space for up to 5 times per class per quarter
• When scheduling, faculty needs to put department, number of students, course # and section #, name of instructor and telephone number.
• An advance notice of 48 hours is required.
• Please have students bring Tartan Card for entry thru Teleport.
• Students will not be permitted into the classroom until the instructor arrives. Students will be asked to wait outside the Labtele area. If it is a large group, they may be asked to wait outside the Teleport area.

To Schedule in Outlook

• Open Outlook or Web Mail
• Go to the Calendar
• Select the date you are booking for
• Select New - Upper left
• Input class information under Subject - Course/section number/instructor
• Let us know how many students are using the room so we know if you need us to block stations outside the classroom.
• Use the Recurrence feature if you want to book for additional times for the same class.
• Click on Invite Attendees and add Labtele
• Make sure date(s) selected is available before sending. An already scheduled event will show a blue bar during that time frame. Be sure to select an open time frame.
• Select Send to schedule the appointment
• You'll receive a confirmation from Labtele
