Sinclair Community College

Campus Computer Labs

Computers have become a necessary part of life.

Sinclair offers computer training in a wide range of uses, from running a household to operating a manufacturing plant. Open labs give students access to computers and software outside the classroom.

Procedures for use of laboratories

Students may bring their own programs if they are compatible with the Macintosh or Windows-2000 or Windows XP systems and they can be executed from their floppy disk. They will not be loaded on the hard drive.

Students wanting to create and save their own data or programs must bring a diskette. Diskettes are available for purchase in the college bookstore Bldg 7, 1st floor or snack bar in Bldg 13, 4th floor.

Students need a Sinclair Tartan Card ID for access to labs and all the resources and services available.
