SUPPORTED BROWSERS FOR MY.SINCLAIR APPLICATIONS
The list below represents the only browsers currently supported to work with my.Sinclair and SSO enabled applications (including my.Sinclair (Angel), Perception, and Web Advisor) on the PC or MAC platforms. For help, contact the Sinclair helpdesk at 512-help or email them at helpdesk@sinclair.edu.
When logging into my.Sinclair on either a PC or MAC you must be using one of the following browsers:
NOTE: AOL users may access my.Sinclair by downloading and installing the latest version of Internet Explorer. For help, contact the Sinclair Helpdesk at 512-help.
FOR PCs (running Windows O/S):

Internet Explorer version 5.5 and beyond, (IE 7.0 is now supported)

- Firefox 1.0.1+ (Angel runs slower than normal when using Firefox)

NOTE: Perception can only be accessed with Internet Explorer (version 5.5 to 7.0)
To use IE 7.0 with Perception, the following modifications must be made to the browser:
- Close all browser instances but one
- Go to "tools", "internet options" and click the "Security" tab and click "Custom Level"
- Scroll down and find "Allow Programmatic Clipboard Access"
- Click "Disable" and then "Apply" and/or "OK"
- Click "Ok" again (and at every subsequent screen that it shows on, if any)
- Completely close the browser so that change takes place
- Open IE again and double check that the setting was changed.
FOR MACs (running OS X):
- Safari 1.2+ (not listed as supported with Angel; some features don't work correctly)

To access the full range of ANGEL features, your Web browser should display frames, run Java 1.4.1 (or later) and JavaScript, and have cookies enabled. Turn off (or configure with use for Angel) all instances of popup blocker.
