Student Success Plan
Available for New Students
(Determined after Placement Testing)

New degree or certificate seeking students will have the opportunity to develop a plan for success with an SSP academic coach.  After completing the placement test,  students qualifying for the SSP program will receive additional information at the Enrollment Center.  

 Team-up with an Academic Coach to:

      • Create your own plan for success
      • Develop the skills to reach your goals
      • Access your campus resources
      • Get support, get connected

Students who participate in this process will have a customized plan and support system to serve as a guide as they begin their educational experience at the college.

MyGPS
MyGPS is a self-help guide designed to assist students in identifying and overcoming roadblocks and detours on the road to success at Sinclair. MyGPS, directed by you, creates a Personal Road Map for navigating challenges by providing campus and community resources with detailed information.              http://gps.sinclair.edu

Academic Coaching Community Group on Angel
Academic Coaching is a new addition to Angel, found under “community groups.”  Students participating in the SSP program will find a wealth of information on careers, majors, financial aid workshops and registration instructions. Announcements from the Academic Coaching site will automatically appear on the My.Sinclair homepage.  Students can email their academic coaches through the site as well.           http://my.sinclair.edu

C.O.P.E. Workshops
COPE is a series of free workshops offered in study and testing skills, organization management, and personal growth.
