College and Career Resource Centers
The primary purpose of the CCRC is to decrease the number of students who need remediation when entering college and for students to be ready to begin college level work upon entry into college. This goal will be accomplished through the use of PLATO Learning Systems courseware within a supervised classroom setting at the high school.

only by those students participating in Sinclair’s CCRC program.

Sinclair will provide a facilitator to administer a pre- and post-test to the students, implement the self-paced individualized PLATO tutorials and provide appropriate reports to the guidance office or designated high school person. The CCRC facilitator will also incorporate appropriate resources for career and life skills, as well as pre-enrollment advising as needed to help students prepare for college. The high school can choose to supplement or upgrade this position, but it will be at the high school’s expense.

CCRC facilitators are hired by Sinclair and every attempt will be made to accomplish the right partnership between a facilitator and the school district upfront. However, should there be any instance where the facilitator appears to be ineffective in this partnership; both parties will agree to work out the potential exchange or moving of a facilitator in a mutually beneficial manner. The high school should notify the Sinclair CCRC coordinator by phone or in writing to advise the college of all potential issues within the CCRC.
