Student Leadership Development

The department of Student Leadership Development is a vital part of student life at Sinclair Community College. Only part of college learning takes place in the classroom.

Students may choose to participate in any number of a wide variety of activities, organizations and student clubs. The best place to learn about all the student centered programs is in the Student Leadership Development office, Room 8025.

The Student Leadership Development Manager administers the Student Judicial Affairs Code of Conduct. Its mission enhances the objectives of the law, and promotes the quality and accessibility of education for all students.

We are committed to providing an atmosphere which is conducive to inquiry and intellectual growth, both inside and outside the classroom.

Student Leadership Development services include:

  • Creating opportunities for students to develop their leadership skills by connecting them to various clubs and organizations
  • Providing problem resolution for students through the ombudsman
  • The use of our center
  • Information about off-campus housing
