Entrance Loan Counseling

Federal student loan borrowers must attend an entrance counseling session before a loan check is received. The counseling session includes information on the obligation as a borrower, terms and conditions of the loan, average salaries for Sinclair graduates, etc.

Exit Loan Counseling

The exit counseling session occurs before graduation or when a student drops below half-time enrollment.  It requires that borrowers update information on name, address, social security, references, and drivers license numbers. Within 60 days of the students' exit counseling session, Sinclair must provide this information to the guaranty organization indicated on the borrowers' records.
