- I understand that a $15 per quarter, non-refundable NBS enrollment fee will be automatically deducted from my account immediately.
- I am responsible for the full amount of tuition unless I officially drop my classes within the refund period that is stated in the Sinclair Community College class schedule.
- If I drop my class after the college’s stated “drop with refund” period, I am still responsible for the remaining payments on the plan.
- I understand that any missed payment will result in a $25 fee imposed by NBS each time a payment is attempted from my account.
- I am aware that the responsible party cannot change the amount to pay or terminate the account.
- I understand no payment extensions will be allowed. Please review for due dates.
- I understand my account will not show a $0.00 balance or “Paid in Full” until all payments have been received.
- Full payments should be made in the Cashiers’ Office, over the phone (512-2606), or on the web through my.sinclair. The NBS tuition payment plan should not be used for making payments in full.
- I will not receive a paid receipt if I pay my tuition using the NBS tuition payment plan. I may obtain a statement of my account on the web through my.sinclair.
- Refunds of payments to NBS will be handled in accordance with the normal college refund policies. Refunds will be in the form of a check payable to the student not the responsible party on the NBS agreement. This includes payments made on credit card or ACH.
- Failure to pay fees owed to NBS, or otherwise defaulting on my agreement with FACTS, will result in a hold being placed on my student account which will deny future services. My account will be subject to referral to the Attorney General of the State of Ohio for further collection.
- Payments made to NBS will be posted to my student account at Sinclair Community College within 10 business days after payment is due.
- Books cannot be budgeted using the NBS Tuition Payment Plan. This plan is for payment of tuition only.
- I agree to allow Sinclair Community College to adjust my account with NBS if changes occur to my account. These changes can include, but not exclusive to, class additions, class drops, additions or subtractions of any form of financial aid, etc.
- I understand for any change to occur on my account and reflect on the next payment date, I must make these changes at least 5 calendar days before the payment date. Otherwise, it will reflect on the next payment deadline.
- I understand that enrollment in NBS after a set date stated on http://facts.sinclair.edu requires a 33% down payment that will be deducted immediately. Please review the NBS brochure or WEB for these dates.
- If any scheduled payment is missed for any reason then I will be subject to a reattempt of payment in 2 weeks.
- If the reattempt of the previous missed payment is not successfully collected, your NBS agreement will be terminated. You will then be expected to immediately pay Sinclair Community College in full before the next scheduled deregistration date or you could either be subject to deregistration or your account could be turned over to the Ohio Attorney General's Office for collection. You will need to contact Sinclair Community College to find out the status of your account.
- If I enroll in the plan during the 33% down period and my initial 33% down is returned for non-sufficient funds (NSF) or declined, my NBS agreement will automatically be terminated, and I will need to pay Sinclair Community College in full prior to the next scheduled deregistration date or be subject to deregistration.
- Payments are not to be made at the SCC Cashiers Office. The payments will either be charged to the credit card or deducted from the checking or savings that I have entered on the agreement on the specified stated payment dates.
- I will need to enroll in the NBS Payment Plan for each term that I wish to use the payment plan.
- If I enroll in classes during on-time registration and wish to use the NBS Payment Plan, I must enroll in the plan by the College’s specified final payment deadline date.
- If my $15 application fee is attempted by NBS and is not successfully collected, I could be subject to a termination of my NBS agreement and have to pay Sinclair in full for my tuition.
- Sinclair can terminate my NBS agreement for any given reason at any time and ask me to pay in full before the next deregistration or I could be subject to deregistration.
