- Complete a Career Planning assessment.
• DISCOVER is a computerized assessment of your interests, abilities, and values (available on site and online).
• OCIS can match careers based on general career field interest, and gives specific career information for Ohio (available online).
• MBTI is a written inventory of your personality preferences (available by appointment). - Talk with a career counselor to discuss assessment results and plan your career path.
- Research careers by using career library materials such as books, flyers, CD-roms, videos and web sites are available for review.
- Conduct informational interviews; talk with people in the career fields that interest you the most.
- See an Academic Counselor about program requirements, course selection, declaring a major, and the next step in registering for a degree or certificate program at Sinclair.
- Register for a career planning or experiential learning class.
