Prequisite for Employment:
Effective July 1, 2007:
- All students (current and new) interested in student employment for the 2007-08 academic year (starting September 1, 2007) must complete an employment application through Career Services. After completion of an employment application they can apply for any available student positions on campus. Student Employment Application
- The Hiring Department must submit the completed application one of the following to Career Services for processing:
For Current student employee: Student Payroll Notification (single page).
For New student employee: Student Employee Payroll Notification Packet.
- The application and hiring documents must be in the Office of Human Resources before student employees begin work Fall Quarter.
This is a yearly process that will be implemented each summer for each upcoming academic year. Current student workers are required to follow this process. There is no automatic carry-over each year. The re-application process will allow hiring manager’s flexibility in hiring student employees. In addition, students can see what other positions are available on campus and determine what jobs might be a good fit for their career goals.
