Mission
The mission of the Appalachian Outreach/Studies Department (on-campus; within the Appalachian communities; and the Miami Valley region) is to: 1) promote awareness of the benefits of post secondary education and life skills training; 2) promote awareness of Appalachian cultural issues; and 3) increase enrollment, student success, and use of student services.
