If you have earned university credit and would like to have it evaluated for transfer to Sinclair, you must request an official transcript be sent to the Office of Registration & Student Records. We will not accept transcripts directly from the student. If you earned credit at a university or college outside the United States, you first must have your transcript evaluated by a foreign credentials evaluation service. The list of available services also can be obtained from the Registration Office upon request. Once you receive the evaluation report, send it with an official transcript (with certified English translation if applicable) to the Registration Office.
Please note that no transfer credit will be given for English coursework completed at any academic institution outside the United States. If you have not completed the first year of college-level English at an institution in the United States, you will be required to complete Sinclair's writing and reading placement tests. All academic degree and certificate programs require completion of college-level English coursework.
You may be required to complete Sinclair's mathematics/algebra placement test if you have not completed the level of mathematics that is required for your program of study at Sinclair. Click here for Placement Test Office information.
