Sinclair Community College welcomes international students! We are a great place for international students beginning their studies in the United States.
Accessible - Many international students experience challenges adapting to the American educational system and have difficulty asking questions in class, working successfully in groups, and building relationships with American classmates and professors. Our small class sizes help make this transition to the American classroom easier, and allow students to establish close connections with professors.
Affordable – It can be expensive to study in the United States, but international students can save a substantial amount of money (between $20,000 and $60,000) by studying at Sinclair for two years and then transferring to a university. Costs for one year of study at Sinclair for international students are $15,000, which includes tuition, living expenses and books.
Transferable – Our university parallel programs are designed to transfer to four-year colleges and universities. Each year many Sinclair students transfer to the following universities: The Ohio State University, Miami University (of Ohio), the University of Dayton, the University of Cincinnati and Ohio University. In additional our international students have also successfully transferred to Purdue University, Georgia Institute of Technology, the University of North Caroline and the State University of New York – Stony Brook.
