The Testing Center will be closed Friday, October, 2, 2009. We will resume our normal hours on Saturday, October 3, 2009.
Testing Center Update for Fall Quarter
There will be a new online test submission process beginning in September.
Faculty will submit their test coversheets via the new Test Management System (TMS). Tests can be submitted by an electronic file that is easily uploaded from a PC, Internet access or paper copy delivered to the Testing Center. Tests that are submitted by electronic files or Internet access will be available for administration in the Testing Center, the Learning Centers, Courseview Campus or distance learning site. Paper tests will be available for administration in the Testing Center only.
The current Testing Center coversheet and submission process will become obsolete at the end of summer quarter. However, the current usage limitations will remain in effect:
The Testing Center provides testing for distance learning students and, on an individual basis only for students requiring accommodations and/or make up tests. Instructors submitting makeup tests for traditional classroom classes must limit their use of the Testing Center to the occasional student who misses a test. The Testing Center cannot provide testing services for other reasons (e.g. faculty is not available to give test, the length of the testing time exceeds the class time or the class only meets occasionally).
Detailed information will be provided in the next several weeks.
