STUDENT SERVICES

The Testing Center

Welcome to the Testing Center, located in Building 10, Floor 4, Room 10445. Although testing is generally not someone's idea of a good time, you may better appreciate the experience because of the attentive, friendly and well-trained staff that is waiting to assist you.

The Testing Center provides a secure and quiet testing environment for placement and academic testing. All tests are administered on a walk-in basis.

The placement test (called ACCUPLACER) is an un-timed computerized test. Students may take all three sections (reading, math and writing) in one session or one section at a time. The placement testing process begins at the Enrollment Center, located in Building 10, Floor 4, Room 10444. Academic testing is available for distance learning students, students who need to make up a classroom test, and students with special needs who are registered with Disability Services. W are unable to provide testing services for entire classes.

NOTICE: Tartan ID or a State/Government issued ID is required for academic and placement testing.

Testing Center Cell Phone Policy

In consideration of others and for testing security purposes, you are required to show us that you have powered off your cell phone before entering the testing lab.

Reminder Regarding Midterms and Finals

During midterms and finals, please anticipate longer than usual wait times for academic tests. Wait times during these periods can range from 30 minutes to an hour. Please remember to allow enough time to compensate for the longer than usual wait time.
