Returning to Sinclair Community College after an absence of one year or more.
Step 1
Apply to Sinclair by completing an Application for Admission in one of these four ways:
- Submit an application online at http://www.sinclair.edu
- Mail application to the address provided on the application
- Submit the paper application in person to the Enrollment Center, Building 10, Fourth Floor Lobby
- Submit the paper application in person to the reception desk at one of our four learning centers

Step 2
Meet with an Academic Advisor
The advisor will help you to select appropriate courses based on your educational goals and placement test results. Academic advisors are located in Building 11, Third Floor (Room 11-346).
Step 3
Develop a Class Schedule
Access Sinclair’s online student system (Web Advisor) at http://my.sinclair.edu to view the current course schedule. On-campus staff at Sinclair Central, Building 10, Second Floor, will help schedule days, times and sections of courses and show you how to access online registration.

Step 4
Register for classes, in one of these three ways:
- Online at http://my.sinclair.edu by clicking the "Web Advisor" tab, selecting "Student" and then "Register".
- In Person at the Office of Registration & Student Records in Building 10, Second Floor
- In Person at one of our four Learning Centers

Step 5
Obtain a Tartan Card (Student ID)
You can otain your Tartan card from the Office of Registration & Student Records in Building 10, Second Floor, after submitting your initial course registration.

Step 6
Pay for Classes
Your next step is to pay for your classes by the quarterly deadline in one of these five ways:
- Online at http://my.sinclair.edu, click on the "Web Advisor" tab, then "Student", then "Finances", and finally, "Pay Now"
- In-Person at the Bursar's (cashier's) office in Buiding 10, Second Floor
- Mail to: Bursar's (Cashier's) Office, Sinclair Community College, 444 West Third Street, Dayton, OH 45402-1460
- FACTS Tuition Payment Plan: This allows you to separate your tuition bill and make payments. Find out more by visiting the FACTS Web site.

Access your Student E-mail Account
This is how Sinclair will communicate with students about registration, financial aid, and payment. Once your Admissions application has been processed, students will receive an e-mail account. To access the e-mail account, please visit http://my.sinclair.edu. Once logged in, you can access your e-mail by clicking on the "Student E-mail" tab. For additional technical assistance accessing the e-mail account, students should call the Sinclair Help Desk at (937) 512-HELP (4357).
Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships
All degree and certificate seeking studnets can apply for financial aid by completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov. Sinclair's code is 003119. Pleaes allow 1–4 weeks for processing and the actual awarding of aid. For additional information, call (937) 512-3000, or toll-free for Ohio and Indiana residents, 1-800-315-3000.
- Priority deadline for the academic year: May 1
- Deadline for fall quarter: August 1
- Deadline for winter quarter: November 15
- Deadline for spring quarter: February 15
Purchase Books and Course Materials
Obtain your fee bill at http://my.sinclair.edu (click the "Web Advisor" tab) and take it with you to purchase your books and required course materials at the Sinclair Bookstore in Building 7, First Floor, or purchase them online at http://bookstore.sinclair.edu. Auditing Classes
If you are interested in auditing any class, you can enroll in an audit course, on a space-available basis, during the late registration period. You must still pay all laboratory fees and purchase the course's required books and materials. Note: Please make note of late registration dates available online, or by phone (937) 512-3000, or toll-free at 1-800-315-3000 for Ohio and Indiana residents.
Disability Services

Career Services offers free services, including an extensive career library, computerized career guidance system, career/life development workshops and career counseling. Residency Information
Residency information obtained from the application for admission (more than the current address) will be used to determine residency for tuition purposes. Please refer to the Sinclair catalog for a comprehensive description of residency related to the fees that are assessed by Sinclair.
