All degree and certificate-seeking students must complete placement testing to assess your writing, reading and mathematics skills. No appointment is needed and there is no initial testing fee. Academic Resource Center (ARC) Need a refresher to increase your math, reading and/or writing skills before taking the college placement test or enrolling in a developmental studies course? Try the ARC first --it is free and it is easy to do! Your skill levels are initially assessed and then you are guided through self-paced, computerized tutorials.
