Sinclair Community College is pleased to announce the Eleventh Annual Career Exploration & Job Fair. The success of previous Career Exploration events has prompted Career Services, Business and Public Services and the Science Mathematics and Engineering Cooperative Education Offices to once again team up to bring Sinclair students and local employers together.
Career Exploration & Job Fair has a three-fold purpose:
1. Employers will be able to establish or continue an effective on-campus presence for recruiting.
2. Students will be able to investigate career options and begin networking professionally.
3. Employers and students will both be able to consider the benefits of work based learning opportunities, such as Internship and Co-op experiences.
Career Exploration & Job Fair will be held on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 from 12:00 noon until 4:00 p.m. in the Sinclair Conference Center, Building 12. We have invited a representative sampling of industries and organizations from the greater Dayton area that will allow Sinclair students to talk to the experts about career opportunities and what the “real world” expects of them in the work place. Sinclair students will be comfortable asking questions of someone who has been in their same situation. The success of the alumnus will also inspire current students towards success as well. Corporate Sponsorship March 15th through April 28, 2010 $450.00
Sponsorship includes T1 Internet access, up to three attendees an additional table/booth (including parking and lunch for each) and mention in Career Exploration and Job Fair ad in Clarion school newspaper.
Regular Registration March 15th through April 28, 2010 $125.00
This fee includes access to a six foot display table, parking for one vehicle, lunch and afternoon break for one individual, and access to electrical outlets for audio/visual displays. Additional attendees may participate at a cost of $35 each.
Non-Profit Registration March 15th through April 28, 2010 $75.00
Non-Profit organization must provide tax exempt number. This fee includes access to a six foot display table, parking for one vehicle, lunch and afternoon break for one individual, and access to electrical outlets for audio/visual displays. Additional attendees may participate at a cost of $35 each.
NOTE: Make check payable to Sinclair Community College. Sinclair’s employer tax identification number is 31-0723444. No registrations will be accepted after April 28, 2010 deadline.
