Career Services offers students, alumni, and community members help with resume and cover letters. Since the typical employer may only look at your resume for 10-15 seconds, you will want to make sure that your resume stands out from the rest. Make sure to highlight your accomplishments and transferable skills for the position in which you are applying.
- If you do not currently have a resume, our staff will provide you with information on how to create one utilizing best practices.
- If you already have a resume, Career Services will be happy to critique it. There are 2 options: 1. Drop it off at the front desk for a staff member to review (allow 3 days turnaround time) 2. Make an appointment to sit down with a staff member to review it.
