More About NBS

HERE IS A PROVEN PLAN

To help you meet your educational expenses, Sinclair Community College is proud to offer NBS as a convenient budget plan. This is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The cost to budget your interest-free monthly payment plan is a $15.00 per quarter nonrefundable NBS Enrollment Fee.

Using NBS is simple. You must register online at http://FACTS.sinclair.edu. Additional information regarding online registration is provided in the "Convenient Online Enrollment" section. You may budget your tuition and fees one of two ways:

  1. Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) – ACH payments are those payments you have authorized NBS to process directly with your financial institution. It is simply a bank-to-bank transfer of funds that you have preapproved for your expenses at Sinclair Community College. Payments may be made from either your checking or savings account. Payments are processed each month and will continue until the balance is paid in full. Please check your agreement for the payment deadline dates.
  2. Credit Card Option – Paying with your credit card gives you the option of taking advantage of various bonus programs offered by your credit card company. Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to the credit card you designate. Payments will be charged each month until the balance is paid in full. If you wish to use this option, you may enroll by registering only through e-Cashier. Please check your agreement for the payment deadline dates.

CONVENIENT ONLINE ENROLLMENT

Enroll in the NBS Payment Plan online at facts.sinclair.edu and follow the instructions. Be sure to have the following information:

  1. The last seven digits located on the Tartan Card ID issued by Sinclair Community College.
  2. The name, address, and email address of the student and/or person responsible for making the payments.
  3. To protect your privacy, you will need to create your own unique NBS Access Code. Please be sure it is something you can easily remember.
  4. Account information for the person responsible for payment.
  • If paying by automatic bank payments you will need the bank name, bank telephone number, account number and the bank routing number. Most of this information is located on your check. The information must be accurate to process your agreement. If this information is not correct you could be subject to a missed payment fee or termination of your NBS agreement. Please check with your bank for the correct information.
  • If paying by credit or debit card, you will need the card number and expiration date.

Save time…pay online.

DOWN PAYMENT OPTIONS

Down payments are deducted immediately. If your down payment fails for any reason your agreement will be cancelled and you may be deregistered from classes. Please do not assume your balance will automatically be adjusted if financial aid is received or a class is dropped or added. You should review your agreement balance online through My NBS Account prior to payment dates.

CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF PAYMENT PLAN

All changes to a payment plan must be made 5 days prior to the next scheduled payment date. Cancellation of the plan can be done if you pay in full at Sinclair Community College's Cashiers' window 5 days prior to the payment date, your balance is paid in full by Financial Aid, or you withdraw from classes prior to the 8th day of the term. If you are entitled to a refund it will follow Sinclair Community College's refund policy.

If your plan is cancelled, you must pay your balance in full directly to the College by the payment deadline published in the quarterly bulletin. You will remain responsible to NBS Management Company for the $15.00 enrollment fee and any $25 "missed payment" fees. Withdrawal from classes after the 8th day of the term does not terminate the plan. You will be responsible for making all scheduled tuition payments and any "missed payment" fees as described in the brochure.

INFORMATION ON MISSED PAYMENTS

Should an automatic bank payment or credit card payment be missed, a $25.00 NBS Missed Payment Fee will be automatically assessed to your account. You will be notified by NBS of the missed payment via mail or email.
