Sinclair Library to close early for Fall Semester - 8/1/2023
The Library will continue with the Summer Semester hours and will close at 7pm Monday - Thursday. Friday remains the same, and Saturday will be open 10am - 3pm.
Library Change in Summer Hours - 5/15/2023
The Sinclair Library will continue to open at 7:30am on weekdays like normal, but will close at 7pm Mon-Thurs. Friday closes at 5pm like normal, and the Library is always closed on the weekends during Summer.

New GEER Resources - 1/1/2023
The Library has added additional online resources to support online learning, thanks to OhioLINK and support from the Governor's Emergency Education Relief (GEER) funds. There are several new collections of ebooks and additional educational videos that will support faculty and students in a wide range of studies. 10/6/2022 - Select Newspaper Subscriptions
The Library has added a third newspaper subscription for Students, Faculty, and Staff to access online. Along with the Chronicle of Higher Education, the New York Times, we now have access to the Dayton Business Journal.

New Databases - 6/22/2021
The Library has added two new African-American databases to our A-Z list. These areAfrican-American History and the Oxford African American Studies Center. We have also re-subscribed to Nexis Uni from LexisNexis for those who need access to news, business, legal, and political science information.

Library has reopened! - 9/14/2020
The library building is open Monday – Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. You can now request and borrow books, and you can return library materials using the book drops in Building 13, Building 14, and at the Library entrance. Study rooms are not available, but we have many tables where you can sit while respecting social distance. Reference Librarians are not on campus but you can get help from a Librarian by connecting to our chat service or email: ask@sinclair.libanswers.com

The library building is closed, but we’re still working to help you! Due dates are extended until September 8th. Single Sign-on Authentication - 7/16/2018
We have changed to a single sign-on authentication system for Library resources. What this means is, you will access all the Sinclair Library resources with your Sinclair Portal username and password. This is only for off-campus access. You still need to know your 9-digit Tartan/Sinclair ID number to use the Ohio Digital Library e-Books and Audiobooks.
Plaza and Library Roof Construction -Summer 2018 - Summer 2019
You may have heard some noise in the Library over the last few months. Sadly it will continue the rest of the year, although not nearly as disruptive as it has been this Summer. Some areas might still be roped off (particularly the Southeast corner of the loggia) into the Fall Semester. The plaza is getting a new waterproof membrane and redesign, and hopefully stop the many leaks that have happened over the years.
