Our Pledge
As with any transition, we understand that many people can become worried about how they will be affected. The decision to adopt the semester system was made with the best interests of the students, faculty and staff of Sinclair Community College in mind. This transition should not affect the cost or time involved in earning a degree or certificate from the college if you follow the individualized advising plan the college develops for you. Please take the opportunity to meet with our academic advisors to discuss the transition and how it affects academic program requirements.

Coming to Sinclair Fall 2012!
Throughout the country, colleges and universities maintain different yearly terms—typically quarters or semesters. Around Ohio, the majority of schools are coming together under the University System of Ohio, adopting or continuing a semester-based calendar. Sinclair Community College has previously maintained the quarter system for its academic offerings.
In order to serve our students better, our Board of Trustees voted on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 in approval of a transition to the semester system by fall quarter 2012.
