PSY 135 - "Living With Loss, Death and Grief"
Project - Photojournal Analysis
PURPOSE
To identify the range of photographs that relate to our course and to analyze the focus of each.
METHOD
Select 10 photographs from newspapers, magazines and/or personal photos that relate to the content of our course.
Write a review of each photograph that contains
- information as to what the photograph is about,
- your ideas as to the concept presented in the photo, and
- an analyses of the photo that relates it to our course.
For example,
- Does it reflect particular attitudes about the content of our course?
- What issues in our culture are reflected in the photo?
- parenthetical documentation of text terms/theory.
FORMAT/LENGTH
- Each of your 10 reviews must be at least 200 words in length, typed and double spaced.
- Include in your Project pages a copy of the photograph, noting on it the source, photographer (if any is listed), and date of the photo.
- Select a textbook chapter that relates to the photograph and list it,
underlining the chapter title.
- Use a cover page that includes the
- project name,
- your name,
- date, and the
- course name, number and section number (PSY 135.TC).
- Staple all pages of your Project together.
- Do not use a binder or folder as it cannot be returned.
