Distance Learning Course
Business Law I is a 3 credit hour course offered by Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio in the Distance Leaning Division.

Catalog Description
A study of the American legal system as it relates to
business transactions including the court system, business crimes, 
the law of contract and personal property.

Course Information
The material in Business Law I is divided into three sections. 
The first is an introduction to the law, the next is basic contract law, 
and the last is sales law. In this last section we study the
Uniform Commercial Code law that applies to selling goods.

Business Law is required in some
Business Technology degree programs
and can be used as a Business Elective in others.
The material studied has application to the business world
as well as living daily life.
