Chapter 14
Sales: Formation of Sales Contracts and Lease Contracts
1. Define goods and merchant.
2. Differentiate between the common law and the UCC rules 
as they relate to:
• offer
• acceptance
• consideration
• Statute of Frauds
• Parol Evidence Rule
• Unconscionable contracts
3. Determine the UCC rules related to open terms.

Chapter 15
Sales: Title and Risk of Loss 
1. Explain when goods can be identified to a sales contract.
2. Determine how and when title to goods are transferred 
    from the seller to the buyer under a shipment, destination 
     and without movement of the goods contracts.
3. Describe when risk of loss for damage or destruction 
    of goods passes from the seller to the buyer under 
    a shipment, destination and without movement of 
    goods contracts.
4. Describe when a seller and buyer of goods will have 
  an insurable interest in the goods.
5. Explain sellers and buyers rights and responsibilities 
  in the following situations:

Sales: Performance and Breach of Sales and Lease Contracts

"commercial reasonableness."

    of goods.

4. List and compare the remedies of the seller and
  the remedies of the buyer under the UCC.

Chapter 17
Sales: Warranties and Product Liability
1. Describe and compare the following types of warranties:
• title
• express
• implied
2. Explain the difference between the 
    warranty of merchantability and the warranty of fitness for 
    a  particular purpose.
3. Describe the requirements of a disclaimer for 
    different warranties.
4. Describe the terms "full warranty" and "limited warranty" 
under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act.
5. Describe Lemon Laws.
6. Compare and contrast liability for injury due to 
    defective  products under negligence and strict liability.
7. Explain the defenses of assumption of risk, misuse, and
contributory or comparative negligence.
