The Business of Art

   SPECIAL THANKS!!

A project of this magnitude cannot be attempted without the help of many. Therefore, we would like to use this space to show our appreciation to those who made this possible.

To Applied Arts students Tom Lubinski, Mark Fish and Bill Semmett for their development of the Business of Art opening collage which adorns the course's first page. Additionally, for their help developing the original navigation scheme and generating many good ideas. These three students demonstrate the quality of student we have at Sinclair!

To Applied Arts chair David Wells and professor John Getrost for providing the special topics course and the direction for the Applied Arts students.

To Fine Arts student Patricia Clingman for her original research paper on the Dayton and Montgomery Public Library sculpture. This paper will provide an excellent benchmark for future students.

To Fine Arts student Donna Townsend for her interviews, research, and writing on various professional problems in art. This information demonstrates the connection between business and art.

To honor student Doug Greathouse for creating the java script and photographing the images depicted on the syllabus page.

Special thanks to Dr. Karen Wells, Vice President for Instruction; Dr. Katy Neff, Director of the Center for Interactive Learning; Peggy Falkenstein, Dean of Distance Learning; Greg Gohlke, Web Master; and all who provided us with the Learning Challenge Grant which acted as a seed and allowed us to combine our creativity and love of education!
