"The Flyover"

The Flyover sculpture has graced Main Street in downtown Dayton, Ohio since 1996.  The work has been both praised and critized but certainly reigns as a significant piece of community art.

One of our first students - Michelle Elaine Wilson - discusses the sculpture, its creator, its sponsors and its critics. This is a good example of a paper addressing public art.
