American Honda's Professional Automotive Career Training (PACT) program leads towards becoming a certified Honda/Acura automotive service technician within a dealership. When a student enrolls in Sinclair's Honda PACT program they will be working on Honda/Acura vehicles and components during lab sessions to complete Honda/Acura modules that train students on specific systems that will lead to the development of expertise on the Honda/Acura products.
Students enrolled in the program can gain valuable hands-on experience through the school's paid co-op internship program while achieving college credit for practical work experience.
This Associate of Applied Science program provides training for students aspiring to become Honda/Acura dealership technicians and requires students to co-op at a Honda or Acura dealership. Students receive specific Honda technical training resulting in training, credits/certifications from the corporation. These credits/certifications help a student secure employment with a Honda/Acura dealership.
This degree program contains one or more embedded certificates which will be automatically awarded when the certificate requirements are completed. If you do not want to receive the embedded certificate(s), please notify Registration and Student Records at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Formal articulation agreements with other colleges and universities indicate how Sinclair programs and courses will transfer to other institutions.
The Honda PACT program prepares students to take the National ASE test, which is required for ASE technician certification. Honda PACT graduates will receive corporate-specific technician certifications.
