- Type the URL for your folder into the Address Line of your web browser. A sample URL is shown below. The URL should begin with ftp://
NOTE: Your folder name uses a format similar to your network username, except that there isn't a period between your first name and your last name.
Example: The folder name for Rex Mt. Castle would be rexmtcastle
- Once you type in the FTP URL, a log on dialog box will open. You will need to enter your network username and password. You will need to enter the domain id, scc-nt/, in front of your network username. Then click Logon. See below:
- Once you have logged in you will see your published folders listed in your browser window.
- Open up Windows Explorer. Move and resize the Windows Explorer window and the Browser window so you can see both of them at the same time. See below:
- Select a file or folder from the Windows Explorer window. Click on it while holding the mouse button and "drag" it to the Browser window. "Drop" the file by letting go of the mouse button while it is over the Browser window. The file or folder will be copied into the Browser window and it will be published to the pub folder. See below.
NOTE: Make sure that you drag and drop your files from the Windows Explorer window onto the pub folders in your Browser window. The only time that you want to click on a pub folder is if you have subfolders that you have created below it.
