The Secular Student Alliance @ Sinclair (SSAS) is a campus club that provides a supportive community for secular humanists, freethinkers, atheists, agnostics, and other who identify as secular individuals at Sinclair and in the surrounding community.
Our mission is:
1. To work to eliminate the social stigma associated with secular viewpoints;
2. To promote rational inquiry as a means for investigating the nature of humanity and the universe;
3. To encourage discussion between secular and religious individuals;
4. To create a community that promotes acceptance toward individuals with a secular worldview.
We are affiliated with the Secular Student Alliance, a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to organizing and empowering nonreligious students around the country.
