The
Indian culture is steeped in traditions passed on from
one generation to the other through
the ancient art of storytelling.
These stories are shared before bedtime once the family has retired
for the evening after having dined on vegetarian
delights such as saag paneer or channe kechat.
Many
times they will gather around
the very flame that warmed their evening meal to learn of the genies
who grant wishes
to good children and the animals who have super human powers. Only they
can turn fields of gourds back into the misbehaved children they once
were.
If you are interested in joining in around the fire you must first show
a display of your courage by pinching the tiger's nose. That is the
only key to entry in this magical world of Indian
Mystery and Folklore ...
