Standing Rules of the Faculty Assembly

  • Faculty Senate is authorized to approve the minutes of Assembly meetings.
  • Assembly meetings shall be held at 3:00 pm on Wednesday in the fifth week of Winter and Spring quarters.

Standing Rules of the Faculty Senate

  • A non-member may seek permission to address Senate by submitting a request through any member. The request will specify the topic and duration of the proposed address, and will identify any actions desired of Senate on the non-member's behalf. The request will be considered as New Business on Senate's agenda. If the request is approved by a majority vote, the non-member will be invited to address Senate at a subsequent meeting.

Special Rules of Order of the Faculty Senate

  • Voting on new resolutions and recommendations will be postponed to the next scheduled meeting after which they are introduced
